The topsail schooner Mystic anchored in Charlotte Amalie harbor, St. Thomas, USVI after a day of sail training. Mystic was constructed in 2007 by Freeport Shipbuilding Group in Freeport, Florida. The ship is a custom designed ocean going sailing schooner. Mystic is recognized as a classic schooner design: three-masted, gaff-rigged, with a square topsail.

Cashman Equipment Corp. acquired Mystic in 2014 with ambitions to renovate and refit the ship with comfortable, overnight accommodations and modern, upscale facilities. Since the refit, Mystic has hosted pleasure cruises all over the eastern seaboard from Nantucket and the greater New England area to the Caribbean Sea and the British Virgin Islands. The beautiful ship has hosted corporate outings, romantic getaways as well as family gatherings. Mystic has been commissioned for Sea based classrooms and ocean going training voyages to rediscover the fascinating tradition of sailing aboard a tall ship.

I have been exposed to the art world since a child roaming the halls of Art Galleries throughout Europe with my artist/architect father. During my military days in Vietnam I became exposed to photography by doing black and white aerial photography and processing it in my own dark room and taking color slides as well. Not until the age of digital cameras did I reintroduce myself to photography and raising two wonderfully talented sons who were actors and musicians and was able to help them along the way taking photographs for their respective portfolios (several are in my portfolio here).
